About Kathy

As an artist I am driven by eye appeal.  I have a passion for people, gain energy from my environment and am inspired by my fellow creatives.

Working with water based cold wax and acrylic with marble dust and other additives has freed me up to approach a canvas without angst.

My mixed media and collage works are layered compositions that evolve through intuition rather than strict planning. I explore with color, texture, shape, and mark-making, allowing each piece to emerge through a process of discovery.
